THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis in adults. Celecoxib is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation without inhibiting COX-1, thereby reducing gastrointestinal risk compared to conventional NSAIDs.
