THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
Mebendazole is an anthelmintic active against gastrointestinal infestations by cestodes and nematodes such as: Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus (hookworm), Strongyloides stercoralis (threadworm), Taenia saginata and Taenia solium (tapeworms).
