Description
THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
ASTAPH is an antibiotic from the penicillinase-resistant penicillin family (isoxazolylpenicillins). Flucloxacillin is active against penicillinase-producing staphylococci, resistant to classical penicillins. It acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
ASTAPH is indicated in adults and children for the treatment of infections caused by methicillin-susceptible staphylococci, including:
