THERAPEUTIC INDICATION

ATORFIT-20 is a lipid-lowering agent from the statin class containing atorvastatin. It acts by selectively inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, the key enzyme in hepatic cholesterol synthesis, thereby reducing LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and increasing HDL cholesterol.

ATORFIT-20 is indicated in adults and children over 10 years as an adjunct to diet for:
