Description
THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
Symptomatic treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura and severe vascular headaches in adults. Ergotamine acts by constricting dilated intracranial blood vessels. Caffeine potentiates the vasoconstrictive effect of ergotamine and improves its absorption. Paracetamol exerts an analgesic and antipyretic effect. Belladonna reduces nausea and vomiting associated with migraine attacks.
