THERAPEUTIC INDICATION

AMOXICLAV-DENK is an antibiotic combining amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Amoxicillin acts by destroying bacteria responsible for infections. Clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from inactivation by bacterial enzymes (beta-lactamases), thereby broadening its spectrum of activity.
